Stendahl's article now online!

One of the most famous articles in the history of Pauline scholarship is now available freely online:
The Apostle Paul and the Introspective Conscience of the West by Krister Stendahl.

I paid money for a book simply because it contained this article.

Personally I was pretty unimpressed by this essay, and Stendahl's other essays contained in the book Paul Among Jews and Gentiles. It all seems pretty obvious and he says nothing overly insightful, nor provides any reasonable level of proof for his speculations. I suppose though, that now that forty years have passed and the views Stendahl revolutionarily advocated have become the majority view, it is a bit arrogant to look back and criticize the work that started it all off.
